Does Britain need a population policy?

Author: Alasdair Murray
Date of Publication: 21st January 2008

This briefing paper explores the reasons that population politics has suddenly become so urgent an issue. It considers whether a government-led population strategy is desirable and outlines what can practically be done to respond to demographic change.
